"A new family owned and operated Virginia Farm Winery producing handcrafted wines from French-American hybrid varietals.
We look forward to your visit to our winery and vineyard. We hope to see you soon!
Lexington Valley Vineyard is located on 81 rolling, scenic acres in the Shenandoah Valley ten minutes Northwest of Lexington, Virginia. The first planting of Norton grapes was completed in March, 2000. Norton (sometimes called Cynthiana) is a Virginia original first described around 1835.
Norton is believed to be a naturally occurring cross between an American wild grape and a French cultivar. The wine from this grape is a deeply colored, dry red with a very full-bodied flavor."
