DAY 1 - SATURDAY (SÁBADO)

ARRIVAL AND PICK UP AT GIRONA AIRPORT AT 21:45 DRIVE TO COUNTRY HOUSE TAPAS AND DRINKS AT THE HOUSE, A CHANCE TO CHAT ABOUT THE COURSE BEFORE RETIRING FOR THE NIGHT

DAY 2 - SUNDAY (DOMINGO)

START THE DAY WITH THE FILLING, HEALTHY AND YET TASTY TYPICAL CATALAN BREAKFAST! OFF TO THE LOCAL MARKET TO BUY AND SAMPLE PRODUCE FOR THE COURSE. FIRST HANDS-ON ACTIVITY - GETTING TO GRIPS WITH THE GREAT CULTURAL INVENTION OF THE SPANISH 'TAPA', WHICH WILL BE OUR LUNCH SO WE'LL MAKE A GOOD JOB OF IT! SIESTA EXCURSION TO A LOCAL WINE BODEGA TO VISIT THE VINEYARDS AND TASTE THE TIPPLE FOR DINNER WE WILL STROLL INTO THE RESTAURANT IN THE NEARBY LOCAL VILLAGE NIGHT-CAP BACK AT THE HOUSE BEFORE BED

DAY 3 - MONDAY (LUNES)

TOUR OF SOME OF THE AREA'S STUNNING MEDIEVAL VILLAGES AND CHARMING LANDSCAPE WE HAVE A LUNCH RESERVATION IN ONE OF THE VILLAGES BACK TO THE HOUSE FOR THE SIESTAAFTERNOON WE GET STUCK INTO THE KITCHEN PREPARING A NATIONAL SPECIALITY FOR DINNER

DAY 4 - TUESDAY (MARTES)

BREAKFAST AS USUAL WITH THE LOCAL PRODUCE TRIP TO SPAIN'S MOST FAMOUS ANCHOVY FACTORY ON THE COAST TIME TO LOOK AROUND THE TOWN BEFORE WE TRAVEL TO A RICE GROWING AREA WHERE WE WILL STOP FOR LUNCH AND TRY THE LOCAL GRAIN OURSELVES AT RESTAURANT THAT SPECIALISES IN RICE DISHES SIESTA BACK AT THE HOUSE THE AFTERNOON WILL BE GIVEN OVER TO COOKING AND PREPARING OUR DINNER

DAY 5 - WEDNESDAY (MIÉRCOLES)

BREAKFAST TRIP INTO THE BEAUTIFUL MEDIEVAL TOWN OF GIRONA AND THE PROVINCE'S CAPITAL PLENTY OF TIME TO SHOP (THE TOWN HAS MORE SHOPS PER CAPITA THAN ANY OTHER IN SPAIN!) THERE IS THE CHANCE TO SIGHTSEE AND FIND A GOOD RESTAURANT FOR LUNCH SIESTA AFTERNOON COOKING LESSON PREPARING DINNER

DAY 6 - THURSDAY (JUEVES)

BREAKFAST MORNING COOKING LESSON PREPARING LUNCH SIESTA TRIP TO DALÍ MUSEUM IN THE AFTERNOON BACK TO THE HOUSE TO FRESHEN UP BEFORE GOING OUT TO AN ELEGANT RURAL SETTING AT ONE OF GIRONA'S PREMIČRE RESTAURANTS FOR DINNER

DAY 7 - FRIDAY (VIERNES)

BREAKFAST AND TIME TO RETURN TO REALITY!
